November 14th was a very exciting day for the people of Los Minerales.  It was the day that the group of believers was officially organized into a church.  Around 350 people were present to help celebrate this event. During the 2 ½ hour service there were questions about doctrine, testimonies given, history of the mission given, a time of singing, special musical numbers sung by two different singing groups, and of course a challenge given from the Word of God by Pastor Barry.  Pastor Barry and 2 others from the church in Canada that gave the money to purchase the land and help build the church building were here to take part in the celebration.   It was a wonderful testimony to the whole community.

Now we are beginning the make plans for the trip up into the mountains at Christmas.  The first part of Dec. we start gathering gifts and toys for the Huichol and Cora villages.  It takes a while to get all the gifts organized for the different age groups of kids as well as for adults.  There will also be different ones going that will be teaching the classes.  These people do not celebrate Christmas so it is a time for us to share about the great gift that God gave mankind at this time of the year.  Although we will miss very much being with our family at Christmas, we enjoy being a part of this effort to share Christ with people who would otherwise never hear. Pray for us during Christmas week.

Linda is doing well after having surgery.  She gets tired easy but is making progress.  Continue to pray for complete recovery before the holidays catch up with us.  Also I am planning on a hip replacement in January.

We trust each of you will have a very happy Thanksgiving Day there in the USA.

May God bless you as you live for Him,

In Christ,

Tim Woodring
